Full free frank, measuring 10 x 8 unfolded with a 5 x 3.25 center panel, addressed in Madison’s hand to “Messrs. Gales & Seaton, Washington,” and franked in the upper right, “Free, James Madison.” The lower panel bears a docketing notation of November 30, 1825. In very good condition, with toned intersecting folds (one vertical fold passing through a single letter of the signature), light overall dampstaining, and trimmed edges. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
