Bottom portion of a larger document, in full: "Given under my Hand, and the Seal of the United States of America the Twentieth day of July in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Twenty." Boldly signed at the conclusion by President Monroe. Attractively double-matted and framed with a color portrait to an overall size of 16.5 x 19.75. In fine condition, with scattered soiling.
