Special wooden Macintosh Plus disk box presented to Apple employee Dennis Grimm, 8.5˝ x 4.75˝ x 8.5˝, the top lid featuring the Apple logo and words “Macintosh Plus” in gold, and the front of the bearing an affixed presentation plate: “In appreciation of your efforts. Macintosh Plus, January 19, 1876. Dennis Grimm.” The box opens to reveal six compartments for disk storage, and the underside of the lid bears an affixed golden ‘Macintosh Plus’ label. In fine condition.
When the Macintosh Plus was released in early 1986, Apple also sold a wooden box designed for storage of the device’s 3.5˝ floppy disks. Several members of the development team were presented with one of these boxes that bore a bronze-tone presentation plaque to the front.
