Rare "Quick Guide for Owners" of the Tesla Model S, 8.5 x 5.5, 36 pages, signed on the front cover in black felt tip by Elon Musk. In very good to fine condition, with the textblock intact but neatly detached from the covers, and a small stain to the back cover.
The consignor notes: "We were one of the first orders for the Tesla Model S in 2012. When our car was ready, Tesla offered a free tour of their Fremont manufacturing plant if we picked it up in person. During the tour we noticed a man sitting by himself working on his laptop in the middle of the warehouse. Next to him was the Motor Trend 2013 Car of the Year Trophy. Moving closer, we couldn’t believe our eyes—it was Elon himself! Upon signing paperwork back in the showroom, Elon came in and took photos with us. We asked Elon to sign our sun visor which pleasantly surprised him and he graciously autographed it. He also signed our operating manual which was fantastic. Back in 2013, Elon was near bankruptcy and is another great example of an American success story."
