Partial partly-printed DS, signed “J. Tyler” as president and "Dan'l Webster" as secretary of state, one page, 10.25 x 16, no date. Unissued half section of a four-language ship’s paper, signed by President John Tyler and countersigned by Secretary of State Daniel Webster. In very good to fine condition, with light creasing, small tears, old tape stains to the edges, and slightly irregular toning in the margins. Documents like this were often left blank and signed in advance before being sent out to American ports, where they were filled out as needed.
