Archive of 50 original vintage press photographs of Franklin D. Roosevelt, ranging in size from 6 x 8 to 8 x 10, highlighted by several of him with Winston Churchill, plus a pair of early portraits taken circa 1916–1917, one showing him standing prior to his bout with polio. Another highlight is a photo of the 'Big Three'—FDR, Churchill, and Joseph Stalin—meeting at the historic Yalta Conference, taken in 1945 and printed in 1958. Other notable subjects include FDR with his family, including First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt; President Roosevelt giving addresses, signing bills into law, and meeting with dignitaries; FDR with Vice President Harry S. Truman; the inaugural parade; various portraits; and other interesting subjects, largely from his presidency. Most bear affixed press captions on the reverse. In overall very good to fine condition.
