Official Rawlings American League (Brown) baseball signed in ink on the sweet spot and side panels by eight Apollo astronauts: "Tom Stafford, Gemini VI, IX, Apollo X, Apollo Soyuz," "Frank Borman," "Buzz Aldrin," "Alan Bean, Apollo 12," "Edgar Mitchell," "Ken Mattingly, Apollo 16," "Jack Schmitt, Apollo 17," and "Gene Cernan, Apollo XVII." In very good to fine condition, with some scattered staining, and fading to Bean, Schmitt, Mattingly, and Stafford, all of which remain fully legible. The consignor notes that he obtained all signatures in person between 1984 and 2005.
