TLS signed “Babe,” one page, 7 x 10.5, personal letterhead, November 20, 1954. Letter to M. L. Finneburgh, in part: "Well, ole' boy, the aerial is in, but I don't think that the connection is too good, as we don't get the reception that we should from the fennie-aerial. How are you? I hope that your long trip is now at an end, as I do know what traveling around the country does to a person…We sure do want to thank you for the aerial. Everyone thought that we were putting in a television station when they started putting it up, and were quite interested in what was going on, until I told them that it wa[s] a Finney Aerial for the television." In fine condition, with staple holes to the upper left corner. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
From the personal collection of a lifelong collector, teacher, and traveler with a passion for world history. His collecting years ranged from the 1970s to the present day, meaning that several of the premier pieces have not been on the market in decades.
