Description

Older brother (1862–1939) of Wilbur and Orville Wright who occasionally assisted in their aerial experiments. TNS, one page, 8.5 x 10, The Miami Wood Specialty Company letterhead, June 13, 1933. Letter to William V. Miller, in part: "Will say that Mrs. D. E. Lorenz was a schoolmate of Wilbur's at Dayton, Ohio not at Cedar Rapids. She is now dead. Also John and Walter Reniger and Prod. David W. Dennis are all dead. I cannot tell whether there is a possibility of getting a letter or picture from Orville but suggest that you write him direct." In very good to fine condition, with scattered staining from old adhesive residue on the back.
