The metal book/binder ring measures 1.5˝ in diameter, and the off-white clipped cardstock sheet measures 6˝ x 3˝, with the latter signed and annotated in black felt tip by Gene Cernan, who certifies the flight status of both items: "This card and ring, part of the LM Contingency Checklist, flew to the lunar surface aboard 'Challenger,' Gene Cernan, Apollo XVII."
