The photograph is presented in a beautiful red felt “Souvenir of Taiwan” album, 19 x 13, containing three documents and a photograph issued to Major Richard M. Smith, Jr., who served as a communications–electronics officer with the U.S. Military Assistance Advisory Group (MAAG) in Taiwan in the late 1960s, early 1970s. In fine condition. An exceptional portrait of the Chinese leader, very scarce in this large-format size.
