Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the National Aviation Hall of Fame, explaining: "On July 17th, 2009, in Dayton, Ohio, the National Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF) bestowed its annual, prestigious Milton Caniff 'Spirit of Flight' award to the Apollo Crews in recognition of their skill, courage, sacrifice and pioneering spirit that took man safely to the moon's surface and back…Twelve of the surviving Apollo crewmen were in attendance at the dinner to accept the award on behalf of their group. Eight of those attending astronauts, plus record-setting test pilot and enshrine Dick Rutan, and the artist have graciously signed each in the very special limited-edition of only 80 lithographs."
