Flag of the state of Indiana attested as flown on the historic Apollo 11 moon landing mission by the family of Neil Armstrong, 6.25 x 4, encapsulated by CAG as being from The Armstrong Family Collection. Neil Armstrong had strong ties to Indiana through his education at Purdue University in West Lafayette, where he earned a degree in aeronautical engineering in 1955. Purdue later honored him as one of its most distinguished alumni, dedicating the Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering in 2007; his personal archives also reside in the university's library.
