Flown Series 1996 one-hundred-dollar bill, serial number AB85428473N, carried aboard Soyuz TM-30 to the Russian MIR space station on MIR-28, signed on the portrait side in black ballpoint by Sergey Zalyotin and Aleksandr Kaleri, alongside an on-board MIR cancelation stamp. Also signed on the reverse in ink by Zalyotin, with two on-board MIR cancelation stamps. In very fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Zalyotin.
This $100 dollar bill represents the highest dollar value denomination bill of United States legal tender ever flown into space; it spent over 70 days in space and was aboard the last mission to the MIR space station before it was decommissioned.
