Description

Flown double-sided enameled challenge coin carried onboard the International Space Station from from November 6, 2013 to May 13, 2014, measuring 1.5˝ in diameter, featuring the ISS Expedition 38 insignia on one side, and the Expedition 39 insignia on the other. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by astronaut Rick Mastracchio, featuring two images of the coin floating in zero G on orbit in the ISS, in part: "This Challenge Coin was flown onboard the International Space Station as part of Expeditions 38 and 39. It was kept by Astronaut Rick Mastracchio during his time onboard the ISS and has been part of his personal collection since he returned to Earth. This item is among the rare artifacts to launch into orbit and returned to Earth."
