Flown Gillette Techmatic adjustable razor head carried into lunar orbit aboard the Command/Service Module Yankee Clipper and personally used by Commander Charles Conrad during the Apollo 12 mission. The razor head, which measures 2˝ x 1.75˝ x .5˝, bears an affixed swatch of tape to the underside, and the head retains its original blade. Includes a handwritten letter of authenticity signed “Charles Conrad, Jr., Cdr. Apollo XII,” who affirms the razor’s flight status: “This was my personal razor aboard Yankee Clipper (CSM108) during the flight to the moon, 14-24 November, 1969.” In fine condition, with rust and residue remnants.
